22 Jun, 2018 | Reef

Boards & More, the co-founders of North Kiteboarding, will launch a new company named Duotone on 1 August 2018. The "North" brand is owned by North Sails Group.

"We and North Sails Group had different views about the future of North, so we decided to come up with our own brand," explains Till Eberle, managing director of Boards & More.

Eberle confirmed that the popular kites like Vegas, Rebel, Dice and Neo will still be available under Duotone. The company will also continue the production of twin-tips and surfboards. At the moment, it's not known whether the North Sails Group will continue operating in the windsurfing and kiteboarding markets.

Positive effects of calm
10 Jun, 2018 | Reef

It'd be great to always have wind and waves like today, but on the other hand the calm helps to have some stuff done. And there was a lot of calm days lately. So the portal has been thoroughly updated.

One change led to another and since it was always the plan to make the portal's database useful for as many types of extreme sports as possible the portal's name and domain have also been changed.

Now wavefront.ru will be redirecting to the portal's new domain x3mdb.ru. The portal can also be accessible through x3mdb.com or ExtremeDatabase.ru. The portal's pages and groups in social networks will also be updated according to the new version.
