GoPro launches HERO5 cameras and Karma drone

GoPro announced a new line of HERO5 cameras and Karma drone. The $399.99 HERO5 Black is the company’s new flagship action camera and the $299.99 HERO5 Session shares the same small design of the original HERO Session camera, but has significant performance upgrades. Both cameras are compatible with the GoPro’s first quad-copter. The $799 Karma features a compact, fits-in-a-small-backpack design and includes an image-stabilization grip that can be handheld or mounted. The cameras and the drone will be available October 2nd.

Cyprus is not usually associated with sharks presence though sometimes sharks are spotted there. There was even one fatal attack in Larnaka, but it happened long time ago in 1901.

World's first traction pad made from algae

Two companies, Algix and Effect, have joined forces to create Bloom, a brand that will explore the possibilities behind eco-friendly foams. One of their products is the surf pad.

"Surfers, standup paddlers, and skimboarders commonly utilize closed cell foams for traction when recreating. Sea of Blood

On July 23 2015, approximately 250 pilot whales were slaughtered on the killing beaches of the Faroe Islands, part of the Kingdom of Denmark.

Crew-members of Sea Shepherd, an international non-profit, marine wildlife conservation organization, were arrested for standing in defense of the whales that were targeted for slaughter. Sea Shepherd volunteers were able to capture graphic photographs and video footage of the arrests and the slaughter that followed.

For nearly two years Australian stunt rider Robbie Maddison has been focused on making surfing on his motorbike a reality. His efforts paid off in Tahiti, where he rode the world famous waves at Teahupo'o and Papara.
